path to a stable d7 release? merge with bookmark organizer? [#1445304]

it looks like somebody was working on this last year through august: http://drupal.org/project/bookmarkorganizer

is this nearing a stable RC for d7? if not, is there any other module that approaches this functionality?

fup: i was thinking about about flag lists and it seems like an easier user interface option since the user creates the flag (equivalent to a 'folder' of bookmarks) but then that flag is exposed on any content being viewed, period, versus bookmarking and then sorting into the correct folder

would love to see a roadmap or plan for this module on d7 - any insights are greatly appreciated.

basically, just this functionality - i love the idea that instead of "bookmarking" and THEN organizing into folders and so on, a user could simply create a custom personal flag and it would appear all over, then they just hit the flag on the go, for personal use...admin would need to control the content types that a user could set a flag to appear on/within, but that's about it - give user a simple screen to create flags, then click em', simple screen to view them too...
