In http://drupal.org/project/amazon it is said that editorial and customer reviews of an Amazon book (or whatever) are available (listed under "24 February 2010). I don't seem to be able to find tokens for this to apply with the Amazon filter, however. And in these issues, there also appear to be some problems with these reviews.
Can someone inform me whether or not these editorial and consumer reviews are available? And if so, what token should I use?? Otherwise, this module rocks!

Ah, but Amazon stopped providing these things in their feed, 7 Nov 2010. I removed the 24 Feb note as it was almost completely obsolete.

Yes, Rfay, I also read something like that, I think in this module's issue queue. But strangely enough 'something' is still there, I found out. If you put this in a PHP-enabled node (of course, With the Amazon filter included!!), you get something useful.

<?php

echo "<table border='0' width='100%'>";
$x = showamazon('0394700139');
echo $x;
echo "</table>";
?>

<br>Whatever.<br>

<?php
function showamazon($mynumber) {
$text .= "<tr><td margin-left='10' valign='top'>";
$text .= "[amazon " . $mynumber . " mediumimage]";
$text .= "</td><td>";
$text .= "[amazon " . $mynumber . " author]<br>";
$text .= "[amazon " . $mynumber . " title]<br>";
$text .= "<a href='" . "[amazon " . $mynumber . " detailpageurl]" . "'>Details</a>";
$text .= "[amazon " . $mynumber . " editorialreview]";

$text .= "</td></tr>";
$text .= "<tr><td colspan=2>";

$text .= "<iframe width='100%' height='400' scrolling='yes' src='" . "[amazon " . $mynumber . " customerreviews_iframe]" . "'></iframe>";

$text .= "</td></tr>";
return $text;
}
?>

In the url of customerreviews_iframe, a date of expiration is given (i.e. tomorrow's date). Curious to see what will happen tomorrow :-) Will the reviews be renewed, or will they be removed? The tension...

Notice that you don't get all customers' reviews, but just the three 'most useful' ones.

The customerreviews_iframe replaced the actual customer reviews. We still support that field, but it's nowhere near as good as the previous way. I should mention that the Amazon's TOS requires that you not cache information longer than 24 hours anyway, as I remember.
