The history seems to have nothing. The .install file will have to be created.

There is no schema for this module and the .install file was left blank intentionally.

I see why that is now. The profile system Drupal 7 -> Drupal 6 coordination is indeed difficult to coordinate (especially when many D6 sites are implemented very differently).

As a consequence of this, I propose the following issue: http://drupal.org/node/1451712

Setting this case to a status of closed: works as designed.
