The Drupal Universe

Introducing the drupal universe....

Netvibes, known for it's AJAX start pages, recently launched universes. This is a place where users will be able to create customized versions of netvibes and share them with others. At launch there were about 100 of them for bands like 50 cent, Ben Harper, and Mandy Moore along with universes for major sites like CBS, CNN Money, Forbes.com, and Techcrunch.

At this point users still can't create their own universes but netvibes has helped us create one for drupal (thanks netvibes). You can check it out at http://www.netvibes.com/drupal.

Some of the content on the general page is the drupal planet, the lullabot podcast, the drupal showcase forum, drupal on del.icio.us and flickr, and more. On the developer page there are the drupal digest feeds, some quick links for developers, the drupal dojo, and more.

If you have suggestions for changes to the universe please let me know.

can I just say..

that is simply superb.

In fact. browsing the drupal site via your drupal universe page appears to be a lot faster than surfing direct on here on drupal.org. Is there a reason for that? (I'm in the UK).

Great work.

What a nice way to pull all

What a nice way to pull all of the tiny bits about Drupal into one concise menu. I'll have to take a closer look at netvibes.com.
