I know this topic has been brought up many times. I've seen and tried the "ini" fix for settings.php, the clear cookies / cache and PIDSSIwhever cookie to clear; I've read the DON'T WASTE TIME....post from Feb 07 (that didn't work for me BTW). I've read through these and probably others like this and I still have the problem of logging onto my site to make any changes.
Oh, I've also requested a new password fm the site - I clicked the link - went to the page I was directed to - logged in and got a screen with the number "2" in it.
I've also gone into phpMyAdmin, found the "boxes" that contained the data I need to update - did the update in phpMyAdmin and clicked "GO" only to see that it did "not take" on the main site but did "take" in a subfolder that contains the site I plan to move to the main dir, the site in the subdirectory works fine although I can't log into that site eather.
Is there any way, please, that someone knows (possibly - please) the one fix that appears to be stable enough (and works) so it can be posted here. There appears to be so many things that would work for one but not the other - it's hard to keep track of in the thread that has the post about topic.
I'm running Drupal 4_7_6 on a Yahoo small business site running php 4.3.11. The browsers that use are Firefox and Safari.
Any help in this matter is greatly appreciated!!!!

I have this warning in phpMyAdmin
"Warning: Your privilege table structure seem to be older than this MySQL version! Please run the script "mysql_fix_privilege_tables" that should be included in your MySQL server distribution to solve this problem!"
Could this be part of the problem??? To go through all the steps I've taken since my original post to solve this problem; I tried this suggestion through FireFox

I've looked and tried most of these here as well (I am on a Yahoo Small Business website and .htaccess file will not transfer over the site worked before this).Sometimes when I made the change the site just dissappeared - took out the change the site came back. Other times the suggestion just didn't work.

And my site that does have the changes that I did through the phpMyAdmin control panel will not move from the sub directory to the main - and just to clairy - it is accessing the same database as the main site - I didn't create a new database for the sub directory. Please see this link below:

If the warning that I listed above is correct, do I need to contact Yahoo SB and have them run the script or do I find it in the phpMyAdmin control panel and run it there. I'm tired and a bit cranky kicking a dead horse so any and all help even if someone gives me swift kick in the head and points to me and says "the answer is right in front of your nose," would be greatly appreciated!!
