This was my first Drupal site. I built it first on the Aquia desktop environment, then ported it over to my domain. I used the Omega theme with Drupal 7. I finished this just as I was ending a development contract. The timing was perfect since now I've been sending it out to recruiters and companies. I've been getting a lot of positive feedback on it since it's using a responsive design. I still have some bugs I need to work out and add some more content to feel like it's fully complete. We all know as developers and designers, it's hard to look at something you've done for yourself and be satisfied with the results. I'm actually quite happy with it.

Take a look: thirteen.mn

By the way, the community has been great and drupal.org is an incredible resource. I'd say 95% of the time, if I ran into a roadblock, I could do a search and find an answer on my own. It was rare to not be able to find what I was looking for.

Thanks again,

D

It looks great!

There is definitely market for Drupal work. Problem is many of the customers do not get how expensive it is. Especially the horrifying cost they could face at major upgrade time (e.g. Drupal 6 > 7 - try it on a mature, complex site: nightmare time) and the costs of hosting a complex site without it getting slow, and of getting someone to update core, first running it on a test site etc. etc. Still even with the high costs, demand outstrips supply and keeps growing. Best of luck.
