I would love to be able to select images from a view and insert them into a WYSIWYG editor. Any plans to port this to D7?

I second this. IMCE doesn't cut it, as it has no support for Image Styles (nee Imagecache). I don't want to have to reproduce my Styles within IMCE (and it lacks most of the convenience of Styles anyways).

Would like to see a port. This is what Media module should be for images.

definitely it is pitty that it is no d7 version for Image Browser.
I really loved this module, and big thank you for it on D6.
It was nice, simple and effective.
I really don't know which replacement to use, IMCE is weird, and very complicated, I don't like it pretty much, media is not very user friendly., a bit hybrid, complicated too.. Image Browser was so great!

If someone has any suggestions on alternatives that would be great.

I've suggested using some IMCE modules as well as a View of uploaded images.
