Some basic theme settings must be easy to use and difficult to break, with pre-defined color schemes, font schemes, and layouts that all look good.

Here is the plan:

1. Colors in each theme
2. Layouts by way of different subthemes
3. Fonts, borders, and page header by way of a module

It looks like this issue will finally be marked as done! Here is where things stand:

  • Colors can be implemented by each theme, supported by color module
  • Layouts should be implemented as sub-themes
  • Header uploads are now possible for all themes, supported by noggin module
  • Other settings can be implemented by themes as skinr plugins, supported by skinr_lite module, including:
    • typography
    • block styles
    • borders
    • menu styles
    • etc.

All elements (except layouts which require separate themes) have now been accomplished for the standard theme, so I'm marking this as fixed.
