I'm new to this awesome community, I have installed beta 4 of erecruiter and I'm trying hard from 2 days to get the resume search and job search in working but I failed to do so.
I'm now pretty tired with solr so any body can tell me how to enable default core search with resume search n job seach index, as i dont want to use any solr , folr...

I think there was a similar thread on this topic somewhere, you have to add a new server to the Search API module (click on configure), give it a name and choose as the service class "Database Service" instead of "Solr Service". After that change the Server of the index job search and resume search to your new Server and disable the Solr Server. Run a cron to update your indexes, to get any results on your search.

Actually I was not aware of the fact that user can creat custom database server too...
I googled but I was not able to find one solution like that.

I have followed your instructions.
However, when I try and choose the service class, there is no option for "Database Service", only "Solr Service".

Busy putting Job and Resume search indexes on the Server now.
