LICENSE.txt gets added automatically by the Drupal.org packaging script, so shouldn't be included in the Git repository in any of your branches.

This is now committed to 7.x branch. Changing version to 6.x, as it probably needs changing there as well. Changing to task, as it's not really a bug.

Drupal Git Contributor Agreement & Repository Usage Policy does not forbid to add a license file in a project repository; it just says that projects hosted on drupal.org are licensed under the same license used by Drupal core. As long as the license is correct, the file can stay.
