I am on a VPS that runs Centos. The comman 'yum install clamav' ends here wit 'No clamav package available'.
What to do now? I am NOT a Linus specialist.
Thanks

James Andres commentedHi TheoRichel,
This is a bit beyond the scope of Drupal but I will take a few guesses. Probably your CentOS build does not have the proper repositories enabled for clamav to be installed. Depending on what level of access you have on the server you can try one of the following:
rpm -ivhcommand, http://wiki.centos.org/PackageManagement/RpmHonestly though, you will have the best luck asking these questions on a linux support forum.
Good luck,
James

James Andres commentedOh, and of course there's option #3. Call up your VPS provider and pay them to do it for you :-)
