The jscalendar library is old and unmaintained. Issues are appearing e.g. in IE7. I don't think it's worth our while to try to maintain this library. Personally, I have no interest in doing so. Instead we should replace it with a jQuery based calendar.

nedjoThe issue for a jQuery calendar support is here: http://drupal.org/node/142181.
If I hear no objections or other proposals, I will proceed with removing jscalendar from jstools.

ray007 commentedIt is not as if we're really maintaining the current jscalendar library.
But as long as we don't have a replacement, what we currently have is better than nothing, so I think we shouldn't remove it before we do have a replacement ...
And if somebody has a big userbase with IE7 (doesn't it work with IE7?), there are 2 options:
- do the work to integrate a new calendar library in jstools
- pay somebody else to do that
