There is the following module already available across Drupal versions: http://drupal.org/projects/role_theme_switcher

Just wondering what this module does that one does not and whether therefore its necessary to have two - maybe forces could be joined to avoid confusion?

#1 The only difference would be the ability to set a theme for each role as an editing/creating content theme.
