FAQ's in Menu

alfred3x - December 21, 2004 - 21:37

Hello:

I was advised to use the Books module to create FAQ's, and am making my way through that. However, the menu at the top of the page lists books, and not FAQ's. How can I change this?

Thanks!

Not quite sure what you're saying

We used book pages for this section: http://www.bryght.com/faq

The book navigation block is turned on at the right hand side.

Add it

You'll need to manually add it to your menu through themes - configure.

Use Path Alias

For the particular book that is going to be your FAQ, that is the top item in that book hierarchy, fill in the Path Alias as 'FAQ' (no quotes) and then enable calls to that page any way you want to access it. Depending on which theme you use, that may be automatic (as with the Marvin 2k for PHPtemplate theme) or you may have to create a link to it. It is accessible with {yoursite}/FAQ once you name it in the path alias.
