My host wants me to upgrade from a VPS to dedicated, because I use a lot of memory and especially the 40 rss feeds I download seem to be responsible there. Now I am looking for a new Aggregator. The Feeds aggregator seems to be the most popular, but that may be because it can turn feeds into nodes. That is not what particularly interests me, this is about performance.
1. The Feeds module works with PubSubHubBub which seems like a memory saver to me.
2. The 'Aggregagtion' module ( http://drupal.org/project/aggregation ) was 'created for performance'
3. The Advanced CSS-module ( http://drupal.org/project/advagg ) was developed by Mikeytown who also developed Boost. 'If you want your website to load faster, install this module. ' he writes
Please some advice which of these modules (or other ones) are the most memory efficient.
Many thanks

aggregation domination
#3 Is a different kind of "aggregation." It bundles .js and .css files together in a more efficient manner. Not relly what you are looking for.
#2 appears to be stalled. There is no D7 version and no real active development.
So that leaves #1 -- Feeds. And with it being used on 29,213 sites, I would say it's the 800 pound gorilla of RSS and other aggregation.
A list of some of the Drupal sites I have designed and/or developed can be viewed at motioncity.com
Feeds Works Great
Use the Feeds module for now and test your response time. You may be happy with that. It works great.
Thank you for the quick reaction
I'll try Feeds
