The message which informs the user that a redirect would normally happen, but isn't because of his permissions can show every time, even in AJAX requests, which can be really annoying.

A setting to enable or disable this message would be great.

And also when multilink_redirect_cached is enabled the function _multilink_redirect_main() is called twice and because of this the message showed twice, which makes it even more annoying ;)

Agreed, it would be useful - This would need to be for a list of paths, maybe with wildcards or regexp. How about integrating with the context module? That might be the best approach?
