Please help me out. I enabled Aggregator module, however the feeds provided in the frontpage (as a block attached to the content area) are just bulleted lists of topics. However, i need the feeds to provide teasers too in the frontpage.

I have tried to use Leech but it requires Node template and which i have tried to install without success. I have also tried to use Feed Parser but Feed Parser requires feedManager which is apparently not available on Drupal site.

All i want is to be able to display teasers together with the topics in the blocks. Please is there anyway out for me? Any suggestion will be highly appreciated.

Me too. But I do have some solutions. I just don't like them very much. (-:
One option is to use Feed API mod (with some mods enabled that come with it also) and turn feed items into nodes.
Then you can use the Views mod to make teaser lists. It takes a fair amount of configuring and you have to learn a bit about Views and stumble around for a while w/FeedAPI (if you're like me). But it works.
I had to rebuild my dev site (broke it bad) and haven't set all that up again yet, so I'm still sort of hoping to just find a way to do it w/standard Aggregator. That avoids making alot of nodes... not to mention the extra mods and set up.

But if I have to I can do it again.

I need it too, but I read attentively your solution. I did because may it works to have a block with
title | author | date | teaser
of an external site news, blog or others contents... soo easy... so hard.

So I'll try that way.
The second reason is because I administrate a community site (territorial, the city: opinion, issues, politics) and my staff is skimpy.
So I put the google news (inherent our city).
The problem is that users, as well knew, google news embedded can not be commented.
Now your way (make feed news as nodes) could solve definitively my problem. Doesen't it?
But now a legal question comes out: turning external news in node the news source can acts against you (me)?

But it start to seems to me some OT.
