Category transform acting strangely

Hi,

I've created a CCK content type called "Featured Venue Gallery". Ideally every submitted Featured Venue Gallery would create a new category in the "Member Pics" container. However, I couldn't figure out a way to do that.

The solution I came up with was to manually run Category Transform each time I created a Featured Venue Gallery. However, when I do this my category outline gets messed up. I choose "Member Pics" for container and "Member Pics" for parent. It creates a category under "Member Pics", as it should, but it also creates a container at the root level with Parent "Member Pics". If I delete the container at the root level, the category under "Member Pics" is also deleted.

Any suggestions?
