There is quite an annoying bug that I've encountered. If you have multiple "local tasks" they can sometimes get hidden behind other page elements.

Patch makes sense to me, though I'm not much of a css guru and didn't encounter the issue myself.

Is that the admin/content url with a really long list of content types?

Yes it was, but I cannot (oddly) reproduce this issue anymore. It was probably a one off thing, probably conflicting with a specific site theme and overlay.
