The original URL of the Blip.tv video validates and submits, but editing and resubmitting the node does not validate (and throws tons of errors). Submitting a URL from Blip and then returning to the node edit form the field shows a different and incorrect value. Here is the URL I have entered, and the bottom is the value seen on the edit form:

http://blip.tv/agentg/shatner-and-the-wolf-297553
http://blip.tv/?v=AZKVNQI

Attempting to save the node with the second changed value returns about a hundred sets of these errors:

Warning: SimpleXMLElement::__construct() [simplexmlelement.--construct]: document.write("<a href=\"http://blip.tv/?skin=iphone\" class=\"LastLink\"> in media_blip_get_rss() (line 176 of /Users/sean/dev/icateens_d7/sites/all/modules/media_bliptv/media_bliptv.module).
Warning: SimpleXMLElement::__construct() [simplexmlelement.--construct]: ^ in media_blip_get_rss() (line 176 of /Users/sean/dev/icateens_d7/sites/all/modules/media_bliptv/media_bliptv.module).
Warning: SimpleXMLElement::__construct() [simplexmlelement.--construct]: Entity: line 1081: parser error : Couldn't find end of Start Tag a line 1081 in media_blip_get_rss() (line 176 of /Users/sean/dev/icateens_d7/sites/all/modules/media_bliptv/media_bliptv.module).

I marked this as critical because once the node is submitted it cannot be edited. The original URL may be lost to the user at this point.

nudge nudge, any news on this since Drupalcon?

@drewish has been busy rewriting large parts of media_vimeo. I've been sick and drowning in client work, but if @drewish doesn't continue to push these changes on down to media_bliptv, media_archive, media_pegtv, etc, I'll try to find the time.

Of course... nudge, nudge... @seaneffel you could always take a stab at converting the updated media_vimeo into media_bliptv yourself :)

I do not have the capacity nor facility to develop modules. I'm a pretty good site admin, though, and am plenty happy to play the field tester role when I can get something to work with.
