Hi. Is anyone using Memcached to improve performance of their Drupal system? Is there a plan to implement it in later versions of Drupal?

there is a memcache module in the downloads area for Drupal 5

Step 1: Get the advcache module and check out the patches (this is optional, but you'll get the best performance if you do it).
Step 2: Get the memcache module and read about how to use it.
Step 3: Join the high performance group on Groups.drupal.org to hang out with others interested in blazing fast Drupal sites that can stare down slashdot and digg.
