I still can't get it working under IE. FF & Chrome work just fine, they're very happy.

I've tried every option Google has found for me, in this issues section, on Drupal forums, and elsewhere, via css, via JS, everything I could find.

My Nice Menu still hides behind images & other content lower on the page.

At this risk of displaying my huge Drupal ignorance, why not just fix Nice Menus?

Wouldn't that save hundreds of man hours? Wouldn't it be simpler?

Again, I'm new to Drupal, so I might be missing something here. If so, please do explain :)

Ta!

Sounds like an issue with your theme.

The module itself should work with clean drupal core. If your theme is declaring something specific related to z-index, then that can be taken care of by overrides to the nm css.

If I'm wrong and this is related to an out of the box bartik install please reopen and let me know.
