Issue Summary
I'd never noticed this before, because I rarely log out. The admin menu remains on the front page after logging out. I can reproduce this on my production site, running v 6.x-1.5, Drupal 6.19 and on my staging site with v 6.x-3.0-alpha4+29-dev, Drupal 6.24. They currently have different custom themes.
- Clear caches.
- Log out.
- Go to user page and log in.
- Go to front page, Log out. Works fine at this point.
- Go to user page, log in.
- Go to front page, log out.
Menu bar remains at the top.

Happening with me too - on latest build of drupal, all up to date. If I uninstall mod and then reinstall it works as normal for a bit.
