The last 2 times I did a Drupal 6 minor version upgrade, I had problems with my Blocks settings. The custom Blocks and module Blocks were both effected.

  1. With some of the Blocks, the Region would have set itself to 'none', when it had previously been assigned to display in a region.
  2. Many Blocks would display on every page when they had previously been configured to 'show on this page only.' When I click the config button, the 'this page only' information is still filled in. It does accept the setting, after I click the config button, look to see the entry, and save the Block. I have to do that for every Block.

I read the UPGRADE.txt file and followed the steps carefully. What would change or be misread in the database to have that effect on the Blocks during a minor version upgrade?
