I really like the idea of the this project. Cannot wait to see this in production.

No official roadmap, as in target dates. The module is still in alpha for a couple of reasons.

  • there are bugs
  • I want to add a simple mechanism, to extend the browser from third party modules. This means I need to make sure the html is right and allows extensible styling and some form of a jsonful/restful api, so that third party javascript modules can work extend the views

Having said that, I hope to tag it as beta by the end of this week. If there are no serious bugs discovered a week or two later we can make it a public version.

How you can help make this a release?

  • Testing.
  • Bugs and patches are welcome
  • I am very unsure about the admin interface. That is not a show stopper, but I really want it to be clearer.
  • Help improve the usability. It was the major driver.
  • There is a styling issue on IE6 with the image replacement of (i), it would be good to be able to know precisely what bug we are hitting, so that we don't only eliminate it, but style the extensions right. That is a difficult issue for me since I don't have windows box close at hand .
  • The install part is completely untested and although very simple, I have no clue if it works.

I will wait for the beta since it has now too many bugs and errors that I cannot get it to work.

What's the status of this module now? It doesn't seem like there's been any development recently.
