ad 4.7.x-1.1-rc1

There are some major changes between the 1.0 ad module and the upcoming 1.1 ad module. Please test this 1.1 release candidate cautiously on your development servers, and report any bugs so we can have a stable 1.1 release.

New features:

• PostgreSQL support.
• Improved internationalization support (utf8 database tables).
• Full support for displaying ads based on taxonomy term(s).
• New ad_remote module, support for hosting ads on remote (non-Drupal) websites ("proof-of-concept").
• Ad groups improvements:
  • Ads can now belong to multiple groups.
  • Ads groups can be hierarchical.
  • Ad groups now utilize the standard taxonomy subsystem, removing custom ad_groups table.
• File cache lifetime in ad_cache_file module is now configurable.

Bug fixes:

• Wrap debug information in html comments when no ads are found in group.
• Improved adserve.php debug output.
• Escape &'s in adserve.php URL for proper html validation.
• Various other bug fixes and cleanups.
