Hi,

I have a node type that doesn't need a title as it will be embedded on a referenced node. I can do this fine using views by removing 'content: title' but it doesn't make sense to the user to have the title show on the node add/edit form. I guess that some sort of title would have to be populated in the field in order to successfully create the node but it doesn't really matter what this, something just needs to be populated but the field hidden from view.

Can anyone suggests ways I might be able to do this?

Have you looked at the Automatice Node Title module?

How did I not see that! I've been looking at so many modules to do with node titles and didn't come across that module. Looks like just what I need. Thanks for your help nevets, you always seem to have the answers!
