The Fallback widget help text is displaying properly when falling back to a autocomplete widget. However, when the module finds a matching node reference and displays the matching node, the Fallback widget help text is still being displayed.

Same issue here. It makes help text worthless at best, and completely confuses users into leaving the site at worst.
