Storm Knowledgebase was only recently split out from the main Storm project, and only for the Storm 2.x branch - so we don't have a good idea of usage.

If usage continues at the 10-20 level, I probably won't work on a port to Drupal 7.

That's not to stop anyone else going for it (it won't be a massive task).

As for what it does - it provides a topic content type, and a means for looking up topics stored in the system.
