The backend set up was confusing to figure out, but I was able to set up the variations and attributes eventually. However the variations display on the product detail page is overcomplicated and requires a lot of tweaking to look presentable (I'm talking about the page where the customer chooses the attributes).

The built-in subproducts module is displayed in a simple, small fieldset that fits nicely into any theme. EC Live Subproducts should use the same or similar layout as the built in subproducts module, because it would be less of a hassle to integrate into an existing theme.

thanks for repoting.
since im gonna now absorb all users from original Subproducts, i was thinking about simplifying a bit the interface. I must tell you, however, that almost every aspect can be controled by CSS. I intend to change this soon.

the Subproduct module on Ecommerce 4 will be somewhat simplier. but once users can change the look by theme functions and css, it will be more or less the same, by default.
