What I'm trying to accomplish is to create content for my Drupal 7 site that users can access without logging in. I have other content that requires a login to access.

I've got both Content Access and Revisioning modules installed. I gave anonymous users the "View published content" right in permissions. I created a custom content type for anonymous users that I've given view rights to using the Content Access module. I've created a page using that custom content type which I can view without logging in to the site and without getting the access denied message. So it's working at this point.

The problem starts when I create a revision of the page that only anonymous users can access. As soon as I create a new revision for the page I can no longer access the page as an anonymous user and start getting access denied errors. Does not matter if I leave the revision unpublished or publish it. Even if I delete the revision the original version of the page I'm still getting the access denied message.

Any ideas on what would have to be configured to correct this?

I have the same problem with Content Access and Revisioning modules. In some cases (this is my case), similar functionality can be done by Revisioning and Node Option Premium modules.
