File Field Not Available to Add File Types

I've added the modern Office document types to my .htaccess file (xlsx, docx, etc.) and am able to upload them to my site via other means including creating a new media field. In the Document content type created by this module, however, I have no access to the pre-baked fields that come with it and therefore I cannot add field types, so I am currently unable to upload documents using the Document Module.

Please make the baked-in fields available to modify.
