I have deleted the page as i didnt want the prompts coming up. I set up another page to be the default home. However, when i navigate to the default home page, the text from the page still appears, and i have no way of editing this.

What is the best way of solving this? Can i use another copy of and upload it to my file system?

flush the caches?

I haven't reset the cache, but when i tried to go back, or navigate to front, it wouldnt let me. It says "page not found" when I hit the home button, but with the text i had entered under this??

flush all your caches - it may be that you have the previous front page in your cache and it's being pulled from there. Also flush the cache in your browser as well and then post back.

Cleared the cache and it's still showing up.

The lori ipsum is from the original front page that i can't delete, the hello is where i will put my content.

This looks like a block rather than a page...

Check your blocks, if you find it there disable it...

Yep, you were right. It was still a bit stubborn to delete, but i cleared the cache again and got it away.
