textimage simply doesnt work. call gives startpage back.

I misses to tell that the preset "testpreset" exists and that the fonts are defined and found.

/files dir is public.

I can see an 404 in the serverlog:

... "GET /files/textimage/testpreset/testjpg.jpg HTTP/1.1" 404 14660 ...

Nobody?

I can give more feedback if needed.

Another hint:
In captcha i cant get the textimage generated captcha to work also.

I can only choose between

none
captcha/math
recaptcha/reCAPTCHA

in the preferences of the captcha module.

A captcha/textimage or something equivalent is NOT shown.

Using Textimage 5.x-2.0-beta1 now.

Result: Not working. Same thing.

Maybe it helps if i deinstall textimage completely and reinstall it.

But which tables do i have to drop in the database to kill it completely?
Which other stuff do i need to delete in the database to get it deinstalled completely?

A standard deinstall and reinstall doesnt help.

Yes, .htacces is working und cleanurls is enabled.
