Hi,
I tried 7.x-2.x-dev. working good. But when i am moving the mouse pointer over the arrow picture the picture disappears. i hope the most important thing is the picture should be displayed if the mouse pointer is over that. Only the label(back to top) is displayed when the mouse pointer is over it.I even tried by changing the colors. still i am not getting it. if i move the mouse pointer away the picture it appears again. is there any way to make the picture to be displayed if the mouse pointer is over it.?

Hi,
I've installed 7.x-2.x-dev and it works fine on Firefox, chrome, Safari. I use Windows 7 as O.S. Can you tell me which O.S and browsers are you using to reproduce this.

Change are now commited to 7.x-2.x. Works fine on IE9 but needs test on IE8.

Isn't it possible to provide a patch in the meantime, until the definitive 7.x-2.x version is ready?

@redseujac: if all works fine then I'll push to new release. I just need tests by other user to confirm that it's OK.

@redseujac
hi are u able to get the arrow button when u move the mouse over it on internet explorer 9?. I am not able to get it.

redseujac’s picture

No ! That was exactly the issue I had (have) with IE9 using the actual version of this module. So, I am awaiting the module update to test it out. The maintainer says it will work with IE9. Wait and see...

Note: while waiting for the module update, I edited the file "scroll_to_top.module" and in the meantime it's working now for me. It's very easy: in the part "//background color on hover", I just commented out (i.e. putting a double backslash before it) the lines 1, 2, 3 and 5. That's all.

You certainly know you can change also the colors in the file "Scoll_to_top.css".

Hi all,
fix is commited to 7.x-2.x you can download this version of the module and test it. If it works then we'll make this issue RTBC and push a new stable release.

@tarekdj

I have just installed the most recent version 7.x-2.x-dev and fortunately it works for me now in IE9, also the settings for the label (with or without label) and the colors.

One note however: in a multilingual environment the translations for the label "Back to top" are not shown. Whatever language is slected the original "Back to top" is always shown although that string is translated in Dutch and French, but maybe that's not the most important thing :)

Tested also with Mozilla Firefox 12.0: works like a charm :)
