Can anyone tell me if there is a way to embed a Forum into a page. I want to have some introduction at the top of the page and then follow it with the discussions. I have done a similar thing before with a view but have not been able to find the equivalent for a forum.

The forums run off of taxonomy, I think they do,, each forum is a term,, or you can run forums in categories,, and those are arguments or contexts in views.

I don't have the local server running right this second, but I am sure that you can use a view to pull one forum into the page using the term for the forum.. It's been a while since i messed with the forum module..

edit:
I think you can also use the forum name or title to pull it into a view. That would be a context or argument as well, or would it be in the select or filter as 'node title', and enter the exact name.

I think that's working. Not quite the same listing as the forum, but I will work on that.

As an alternative, you could just put your introduction text into a block and position it at the top of your forum page. That would probably be simpler ...
