This looks like a really promising module for what I need. Unfortunately I need to clear the menu cache specifically. Could we consider adding that as an option?

Actually, looks like Menu Rules provides this functionality.

#2: Nope. It only allows a menu rebuild and that is something different.

So you want something like:

cache_clear_all(NULL, "cache_menu")

Or do you want to clear specific items/cid in the cache_menu?
