See the screenshot: In this example, both Views in the menu ("Home Word" and YUC Listserv") are views that have Views UI Basic enabled on them. When logged out, just "View" shows. The odd part is if I edit the main menu, these don't show up under my menu's items list.
As a note, I'm using http://drupal.org/project/megamenu for the menu shown.

Rob_Feature commentedActually bumping this up to a critical issue since i don't see a way around this, and can't really use the module when it's happening. Any ideas on what's going on?

Poieo commentedThe patch marked as a duplicate doesn't actually solve the original issue of this thread. There is an issue with the MegaMenu module that pulls the view and edit links for editable basic into the primary menu.
More than likely this is an issue with MegaMenu and not this module so I'm marking this 'works as designed'.
