Hi,

I have just installed filemanager, but I am little confused on what it is supposed to do.

Isn't there supposed to be a page where I can view files? Setup categories for different file? And download them from there?

Please advise..

same here,
i installed it and set up the directories under admin/settings/filemanager

but how do i use it?

you'll need another module to use it because serves as a backend for other modules, like the attachement module, to store files.
