I am developing a module to integrate Drupal with Silverpop API, features currently created are, creating editing, searching for and viewing emails, mailing campaigns and contacts from Drupal within Silverpop, .

Currently I am working on creating HTML templates for Silverpop mailings within Drupal, then sending nodes as mailings. Also building functionality to integrate with Salesforce suite or another CRM.

I am looking for suggestions and feature requests.

Hi everyone. Unfortunately I wasn't able to wait since my client was desperate, so I've put together a Silverpop XML API Module at http://www.badzilla.co.uk/Drupal-6-Silverpop-XML-API. This doesn't do too much on its own since it's an API for others to use. I have included the GetListMetaData Silverpop call in it to show others how it's done. The framework handles a session id for any calls that need it.

In addition, I have developed a Silverpop AddRecipient module at http://www.badzilla.co.uk/Drupal-6-Silverpop-AddRecipient-Module which uses the above module. This module can add or delete email recipients from a Silverpop database. The 'add' facility is basically a 'Subscribe Now' form (useful for campaigns and newsletter sign-ups) and can be displayed as a block or a node. It uses a content type which requires the Silverpop database id.

I will add more functionality / API calls as per my client's needs.

But - why can't it be posted on drupal.org? You get indexed by search engines, have an issue queue, git repo, etc. Basically it's not a real module until it's hosted on d.o.

my module does this and much more, it can also send an email from silverpop through drupal. I will be releasing the code soon.

But it would be good to get some visibility of your timescales and the scope of your work, in particular a definitive list of the API calls you are implementing. I appreciate you may be working under an embargo but obviously I'm quite keen not to duplicate effort. If your stuff is imminent I can shelve what I'm doing, but if not I may have to plough on since my client needs the work urgently.
Best wishes! :)

It's been almost a year since this comment about releasing the code soon was made? Are there plans to release it? I have a client in need of similar functionality so I'd rather not build something from scratch if possible.

This module is complete and is ready for testing
