tested together with this patch #1322794: Make Stark use a responsive layout
Works sucessfully on
- desktop
- iOS 5.1
- Kindle Fire
- Android 2.3.5

there is one problem, both patches (this one and #1322794: Make Stark use a responsive layout) try to add template.php to stark, which obviously does not work.
