Can I use this on a per user basis?

This looks like a perfect mod for what I'm building. I was just wondering, can I use this module on a per user basis? I'd like to give particular users special grants to things like Forums, blogs etc. My goal is to have "moderator" type access to particular forums. I was using Forum Access, but after a recent bug I've found it wont fix my particular needs. Thanks again for all your work!
