Windows enviroment icon does not appear in ie8 and does not show in tinymce for firefox 11. Works obn chrome and seems to work in osx firefox

Sorry, I meant: on a Windows operating system, icon does not show in ie8 browser.....

Works fine on my Win7 64 / FF11.

I need more details:

  1. What version of TinyMCE installed? Does updating TinyMCE to latest rev resolve the problem?
  2. Did you install latest PHP spellchecker plugin? Did you replace files in spellchecker directory that came with TinyMCE with the plugin files?
  3. did you follow the INSTALL.txt instructions to test the installation successfully? (I suspect you may have setup for browser-side spellchecker)
  4. did you flush caches?
  5. is JS aggregation enabled?

Also, switch TinyMCE and spellchecker plugin to non-minimized JS, post javascript console error messages here.

After running through your list, I updated to the latest php spellcheck plugin and seems to work now - thanks!
