How about using the id and birth_date fields in the civicrm_individual table if civicrm is installed

For the moment I'll postpone this to a time when everything else has been done, because I believe this requires a large amount of changes to the code. But feel free to adapt the code yourself and submit a patch for it (but I recommend to wait until the final 5.x version is out).

Are we talking about 7.x here? Maybe someone notify us, when CiviCRM for Drupal 7 is out.
