Dear d.o. webmasters/infrastructure team.
I've been working with jhodgdon and jredding to put together a reasonably tangible plan to implement the Drupal book listings as a new content type (instead of static HTML content), which can be filtered according to (mostly-already-existing) taxonomies, etc. I already have an SSH key configured for my Git (module maintainer) access. I don't know if I need another key but I guess I can figure things out.
Anyway, I'm sure that as I dig in and read up on the process, I can sort out what I need to do. I have a reasonable level of Drupal site builder skills (creating the content type and Views displays this project calls for should be fairly simple for me) and am working on building up my Drupal developer/themer skills. In any case, I'm confident that my work will lead to successful contribution to the d.o. infrastructure and I look forward to helping out.
The plan for our new book listings system is here: http://drupal.org/node/1487988
Thank you,
Lowell Montgomery

I just realized that Lowell could probably the existing docs-infra site that is already there -- the Books project shouldn't interfere with anything else that site is currently being used for.
He still would need SSH access though.

drummI added your account. The username is lowercase: lomo. I used your Macbook SSH key; you can add more to .ssh/authorized_keys.

lomo commentedI never managed to ssh in with the key on my Macbook. I'm not sure why, but ideally I'd like an SSH key for my "home" system so that I can theme the Book listings (node view).
Could someone please add my SSH key labeled "Lowell at home"?

drummAdded your Lowell at home key.
