The help text for the preset name reads:

Spaces are NOT allowed; punctuation is not allowed except for periods, hyphens, apostrophes, and underscores.

However, hyphens throw the error:

The preset name contains an illegal character.

I've marked #925592: Creating a new preset containing a hyphen in the name gives error (an older issue) as a duplicate of this.
