Ok just a tiny patch here but i've come across this on lots of site's ive setup, need to put just the %site_url and often need to use the %nid so i can append /edit etc etc depending on the modules and things the site is trying to perform

How about utilizing the Token.module here, so we can also use cck field values and such?
