Either strip the HTML or allow some tags (probably the tags that are 'enabled' with the toolbar in the edit page). While I'm at it, the content type is set to be promoted to the front page by default. Pretty sure that this should be unset and cases promoted on a case-by-case basis (if you'll pardon the pun).
