I'm looking in to this feature as well, although it seems to me (non-dev) that it would need to be related to one of the pager modules like pagination or views pager. I am using pagination right now, and thought I could just add a call to drupal_add_html_head() or something like that.

Does this module provide any support for metadata for pagination? I installed it thinking it ought to, but can't find anything in the documentation or the module settings.

Looks like NodeWords (the module for D6 that this module replaces) did have pager support. Is it planned for Metatag?
