When I enabled Remember me, I found that the parent box in my menu editor was grayed out.

Please give a better description.
What are parent box and menu editor?

Administer>Site building>Menus>Menu item>Parent item
The parent item drop down menu becomes inactive. I would provide a screen shot, but I do not have Remember me installed at the moment.
